Auricula Air
Arrive softer. Still hear the gate.
Air is designed by our sound and mechanical engineers for travel. It helps your ears equalize air pressure during takeoff and landing to reduce flight-related ear pain and discomfort.
A uniquely shaped microcavity filter lowers harmful and distracting in-flight noise while letting the sounds you want come through. It can also help ease the ringing in the ears that can follow sudden pressure changes. Air is not electronic, so you can wear it for the whole flight.
Put them in
A good seal is what makes the earplug work. These steps get easier with practice.

Make sure the earplugs are clean. Wipe them gently with a clean cloth, or a mild cleaning solution made for earplugs.
Gently roll the silicone ear tip between your fingers. This compresses the tip so it slips into the ear canal more easily.

Gently pull the top of your ear up and out. This opens the ear canal and makes room for the earplug.

Keeping the ear open, push the earplug in with gentle, steady pressure until it seals.
Note: The first few times, you may feel a slight itch or a squeezing feeling in the ear canal. That’s normal and fades with practice. If the itching continues after wearing them for a while, take the earplugs out and see a doctor. You can also contact us for help.
Take them out
Use a slow twisting motion to break the seal and loosen the earplug.
↺
Right ear: turn counter-clockwise as you ease it out.
↻
Left ear: turn clockwise as you ease it out.
Don’t pull straight out. Pulling can make the ear tip come off and stay in your ear canal.
Clean and store
- Handle the earplugs gently and keep them away from too much moisture or harsh chemicals.
- Wipe the earplugs with a cloth that is only slightly damp, or rinse the ear tip under a gentle stream of water. Avoid high pressure.
- Make sure there is no moisture or debris left, then let them air-dry completely.
- Store the earplugs in the carrying case so they stay clean and dry.

Good to know
- Put Air in before takeoff and keep it in through landing, when cabin pressure changes most.
- No batteries or electronics, so it is fine to wear from gate to gate.
- Most adults start with Large. Choose Small if Large presses or will not seal.
